I wonder if we might be missing an opportunity in our current situation for the kind of meaningful transformation that both people and our society so desperately need.

The notion that individual rights/freedoms are somehow explicitly Christian goes against pretty much everything Jesus ever taught.
When all things merge into one…
If we come out of this pandemic with nothing else, I hope that we can collectively re-connect with some sense of unitive consciousness and with a renewed appreciation for the common good.
