If you have a specific topic you’d like me to address, please let me know. If not, here are some of the themes I’ve been working on lately. This is not an exhaustive list, but hopefully it can serve to spark some ideas:
- Technology and the church
- What is postmodernism and why does the church need to know?
- Reclaiming tolerance in an intolerant world
- God’s living kingdom, here, now, and forever
- Treasure in the field: Scripture’s often-overlooked gems
- Into the wild: Connecting through Creation
- Jesus’ kingdom parables
What people are saying:
Joe Webb joined our youth group at New Creation United Methodist Church last summer as our speaker for Youth Week. Our theme was “Rebel With A Cause” and Joe did a wonderful job demonstrating how Jesus was the ultimate rebel. Joe let the kids know that what Jesus did was not easy, but nothing would get in his way of finishing the job he was sent to do. We were truly blessed by having Joe with us. The kids of today have to be able to connect with someone if they are going to pay attention and enjoy being around them. This was no problem with Joe, it was easy to see his love for Jesus and for the kids. We are truly thankful that Joe can join us again this year for Youth Week 2013!
